The
adventure
beginsOur wedding and surrounding events will take place in Puglia, a region in southern Italy known for its historic towns, coastal landscapes, and understated Mediterranean charm. Long celebrated for its simplicity and beauty, it offers a more relaxed and authentic Italian experience.
Traveling to PugliaPassports & Arrival
Travel to Italy requires a valid passport.
Double check that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates and allow ample time for any necessary renewals.
We encourage guests to arrive at least 2–3 days before the wedding to settle in, enjoy the area, and account for any travel delays!
Airports & Transportation
The nearest airports are Bari (BRI) and Brindisi (BDS).
While Brindisi is approximately 40 minutes from the venue, Bari offers a wider range of international flights and is about an hour away.
From either airport, we recommend renting a car (especially if you plan to explore the region!)
If you are not renting a car, we recommend arranging a private airport transfer directly to your accommodation. Most hotels, villas, and masserias are happy to help organize transfers from either Bari or Brindisi airports. While taxis are available at both airports, pre-booking a transfer is generally the easiest and most reliable option.
Getting Around
The easiest way to explore the area is by rental car. Taxis are available but should generally be booked in advance through your hotel, villa host, or a local taxi service, as they are not readily available on demand. Uber is not widely available in this area.
More information on transportation for wedding events will be provided soon!
Recommended Accommodations
We’ve curated a list of recommended accommodations, with options ranging in size, price, and style. We encourage booking early, as availability in the region is limited during peak season. All of these properties are conveniently located near our venue, Masseria Borgo Ritella. If you choose to stay elsewhere, we recommend selecting accommodations within a short driving distance for ease of transportation and to fully enjoy the weekend’s celebrations.
There are also many nearby villas and private houses in the area if you prefer to stay with a larger group. We recommend searching for accommodations in Selva di Fasano or Fasano, as these are the closest areas to our venue, Masseria Borgo Ritella.
Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com have great options!
